I've finally finished the draft of that book and I tried something that'll either make or break the experience… and I hope to never do again. Anyway, the rough draft is, at long last, complete! Now, it just needs to be proofed, hopefully I'll figure out when that part can come together… shouldn't take anywhere near as long, but I didn't count how long it took for the first draft to get written.
It'll happen eventually.
Anyway, for now, I'm gonna try and get out of the rut I've gotten myself into and then come back to it with a fresh set of eyes with some family and friends. That seems to sum it all up, so I may let LibreOffice have a break… at least until I get to go back to work.
The next thing I write, I'm gonna try to do on a period-correct laptop (if it's possible). It's gonna take place in the 90s (like some of the stuff I wrote years ago), but I'm not sure whether or not it'll be for sale or just on my Fur Affinity page. If it's the latter, I'll upload it there and put a link here, though if it is uploaded there, it's likely not going to be proofed and more of a "Quick-n-Dirty" writing thing (short stories, absurd stuff with little-to-no effort, you know… the like).
Whelp, that about sums it all up for today and keep drumming!
